TUKULU

The Tukulu winery is a member of the Biodiversity & Wine Initiative and launched its first Organic wine last year, a 2006 Chardonnay.  Using organically certified dryland vines, on the Papkuilsfontein farm in Darling, this wine is also vinified under organic conditions. The deep, well-drained Tukulu soils, cooling maritime winds and a protective range of hillocks all contribute to excellent growing conditions, thus making Tukulu an obvious choice for organic.  The Tukulu range also includes the accolade Pinotage and the Tukulu Chenin Blanc which is always known as a reliable star performer. HILL & DALE

Guy Webber is the acclaimed winemaker behind the easy drinking, contemporary Hill & Dale range from Stellenbosch. The vineyards nestle between the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain and False Bay.  The wines are fresh and young in style and include a Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, refreshing dry rosé Merlot and a Cabernet Sauvignon-Shiraz blend, not forgetting the Pinotage.
