Finca El Origen is based in the Uco Valley in Mendoza, and owns all its own vineyards. The Winemaking is headed up by Sven Bruchfeld, previously winemaker at Chile’s Santa Carolina. We are happy to introduce this attractive 100% premium varietal range into the UK.

The winery has just received all sorts of plaudits for the Reserva Torrontes 2007  and have just released the NEW vintage Gran Reserva Malbec 2007.

Production Information

· Three-tier selection of Premium Varietal; Reserva; and Gran Reserva

· All (except Torrontes) from Mendoza’s UCO VALLEY and situated more than                  1000 metres above sea level

· Torrontes from Cafayate in Salta province, situated more than 2000 metres above                  sea-level

· These high altitudes allow for a longer ripening process, leading to complexity and                  good tannin structure for reds and greater aromatic depth for the whites, and                  RESULTS in a richer quality wine

· Owned by Chile’s well established Santa Carolina winery

· This support network has given Finca El Origen technical and financial expertise                  and marketing and economies of scale gains
